Job Description

Responsibilities

Understand business requirement and actively provide inputs from a Data perspective
Understand the underlying needs and data and flow of data
Work with other Azure source , SQL DW, etc.
Solid Knowledge of SAS and should have extensive working knowledge on handling large data sets.
Proficient understating of UNIX commands and scripting
Schedule and execute process chains in the SAS supported environments and perform root cause analysis by investigating the issues/defects and perform data and process analysis.
Recommend fixes or workaround Report progress at regular status report meetings.
Contribute to system enhancements and process automation by working on basic to medium development work.
Perform ad-hoc data pulls and analysis as required.
Create & support test plans with hands-on testing and peer reviews of work developed by others within the team.
Able to work with dynamic project teams with a wide range of business and systems partners.
Strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks at a given time.
Strong technical skills including a broad understanding of relational databases, file processing, application and web-enabling technologies.
Ability to execute automated and/or manual functional or non-functional tests and report results.
Must be able to work independently, with minimum instruction

Minimum Qualifications

Relevant professional experience working experience in the field of reporting and data modeling
B. Tech or M. Tech (Preferred)
Expert-level knowledge of SAS
Proficient level knowledge of SQL, UNIX and Data warehouse
Fare experience to work with PowerBI /Qlik View
Knowledge on Python is a plus
Ability to analyze and understand complex data
Knowledge of other Azure Services like Analysis Service, SQL Databases will be an added advantage
