Assistant Manager – FP&A (Chartered Accountant)

Role Summary

Were looking for a high-calibre Chartered Accountant to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role offers strong exposure to business leadership and plays a key part in driving financial discipline, insights, and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans
• Track actuals vs budget and analyse variances with actionable insights
• Support scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis for business decisions

MIS & Performance Analytics

• Develop and maintain monthly MIS packs for management and investors
• Monitor key KPIs, margins, working capital, and cash flows
• Provide product / customer / subsidiary / geography-wise profitability analysis

Business Partnering

• Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to support revenue planning and cost optimisation
• Assist in pricing analysis, contribution margin analysis, and cost-benefit evaluations
• Support strategic initiatives, new business launches, and expansion plans

Financial Modelling & Decision Support

• Build and maintain financial models for business cases, capex proposals, and investments
• Assist in valuation, deal analysis, and diligence support (where applicable)

Controls & Process Improvement

• Support month-end close from an FP&A perspective and ensure data accuracy
• Improve reporting processes, automation, and data integrity
• Ensure alignment with internal controls and finance policies

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over Excel / financial modelling
• Working knowledge of PowerPoint and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate numbers into business insights
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• High ownership mindset and execution orientation

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• 23 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or business finance
• Prior experience in healthcare / consumer / PE-backed environment is a plus
