Assistant Manager – Facility Maintenance & Management

  • Location: Baner-Sus / Kharadi, Pune
  • Vacancies: 3 Nos
  • Reports to: Manager – FMM
  • Experience: 2–5 years in facility operations or building maintenance
  • Team Size: Works with technicians, supervisors, and external vendors

With the rapid expansion of our real estate footprint, maintaining seamless day-to-day building operations is essential. This role supports the Manager by driving on-ground execution of maintenance activities, ensuring safety, timely resolutions, and consistent upkeep of all systems and infrastructure. It is a critical stepping stone in building our future-ready facility team.

What Success Looks Like in 1 Year:

  • On-ground facility issues are resolved swiftly with minimal escalations
  • Preventive maintenance schedules are implemented and tracked
  • Vendor coordination is smooth with timely service delivery
  • Compliance checklists are up-to-date and audit-ready
  • Internal team is well-aligned with safety protocols and SOPs

Responsibilities:

  • Execute routine and preventive maintenance plans for MEP, HVAC, fire safety, and civil systems
  • Monitor the performance of technicians, vendors, and AMC partners
  • Maintain checklists, logs, and reports for inspection and compliance
  • Support procurement of tools, spare parts, and consumables
  • Ensure site readiness for audits, safety inspections, and certifications
  • Liaise with internal teams and residents/tenants for issue resolution
  • Assist in managing maintenance budgets, quotations, and invoices
  • Escalate complex issues and track resolution timelines
  • Support training programs and knowledge-sharing within the team

Must have experience (Non Negotiable):

  • 2–5 years in facility operations, residential or commercial
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, fire systems, STP, etc.
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, service engineers, and OEMs
  • Familiarity with SOPs, safety standards, and AMC processes
  • Proficiency in reporting and documentation

Nice to haves (Can be learned on-the-job):

  • Certification in Facility or Building Management
  • Experience with CMMS or digital facility tools
  • Exposure to statutory compliance and local regulatory audits
  • Ability to interpret basic technical drawings or BOQs
