Work youll do
We are seeking aModel Validation Analystwith experience inmodel validationand a strong understanding ofModel Risk Management (MRM) practices. The ideal candidate should have a foundational knowledge ofGenerative AIandPythonfor model assessment and testing.
Key Responsibilities:

Conductmodel validationactivities, including performance testing, benchmarking, and risk assessment.
Ensure adherence toModel Risk Management (MRM) policiesand regulatory guidelines.
Review and challenge model assumptions, methodologies, and outputs to identify potential risks.
Develop and implement validation techniques for assessing model robustness and accuracy.
Stay updated with emerging trends inGenerative AIand assess their implications on model validation.
UtilizePythonfor data analysis, automation, and validation of statistical/machine learning models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, risk managers, and compliance teams, to ensure model reliability and transparency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience inmodel validationwithin financial services, risk management, or related domains.
Strong knowledge ofModel Risk Management (MRM) practicesand regulatory requirements.
Basic understanding ofGenerative AIconcepts and their applications in modeling.
Proficiency inPythonfor data analysis and model testing.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess model performance and identify potential weaknesses.
Excellent communication and documentation skills to effectively present validation findings.
