Assistant Manager Finance

East West India (EWIN) is a critical and strategically important business for the Global EWS. The finance department is responsible to provide support to the business and ensure that the local compliances are met for which one of key priorities includes a focus to build capabilities across functions through proper record keeping, analysis and reporting. Thus the role of Deputy Manager Finance plays a critical role.

This position plays a pivotal and central role in executing the finance department's strategy, particularly in driving operational excellence, upholding compliance standards, and contributing to the financial health and strategic objectives of East West India.

Responsibilities :

1. Lead and assist in specific areas of period-end financial reporting activities, ensuring adherence to the Group Accounting and local statutory reporting requirements.
2. Contribute to the preparation of the monthly reports as per management pack and of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the business, ensuring accuracy and timely dissemination in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
3. Support the preparation of forecasts and budgets and capital expenditure (CapEx) budgets for various departments.
4. Proactively identify and implement improvements in working practices and reporting to enhance operational efficiencies.
5. Establish and promote a robust financial control and reporting environment.
6. Ensure compliance with indirect tax laws, including the management of monthly returns, audits, assessments, and refunds.
7. Prepare all necessary documentation for statutory, internal, and tax audits.

Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills)

• Education: CA/CMA/M Com or similar degree in Accounting.
• Skills: Around 3 years of domain experience, Sound accounting knowledge with a good understanding of tax laws, MIS Systems, planning and project management skills
• Technical: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Accounting softwares (D365 systems) is a plus.
