Job Description
Job Title: Assistant Manager - Finance
Location: Sector 98, Noida
Shift: US Shift
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and review P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Ensure financial transactions are recorded accurately in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Maintain supporting schedules and documentation for financial reporting.
Month-End Close
- Execute month-end close (MEC) activities including journal postings, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Ensure timely completion of close deliverables and reporting packages.
- Identify and resolve accounting issues and anomalies during the close cycle.
Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.
- Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis and provide insights on key cost drivers.
- Assist with financial analysis, trend analysis, and management reporting.
ERP & Systems
- Preferable knowledge of Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems for accounting transactions and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data within the ERP.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and stronger internal controls.
Audit & Compliance
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
- Address audit queries and ensure timely resolution.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience
- CA / CPA with 34 years of post-qualification experience, OR
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting or Finance with 67 years of relevant experience
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles.
- Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis.
