Work youll do
:
The AM Transport Coordinator will oversee the transportation logistics within the company, ensuring the smooth, efficient, and timely movement of staff, goods, and any other transport-related tasks during the morning shift. This role is critical for maintaining transportation schedules, managing vehicle fleets, coordinating with external transportation vendors, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, cost-efficiency, and customer service.

Responsibilities:
Daily Transport Coordination:

Manage transportation schedules for corporate staff and goods during the morning hours.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely arrivals and departures.
Ensure vehicles are available and operational for daily transport needs, including staff shuttles, office supplies, etc.

Fleet Management:

Oversee company vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained and fuelled.
Monitor the condition of vehicles, performing or arranging for necessary maintenance and repairs.
Maintain vehicle logs, including mileage, fuel use, and service records.

Vendor Management:

Liaise with third-party transport providers to secure the best pricing and service terms.
Evaluate vendor performance, ensuring compliance with company standards and agreements.

Staff Coordination:

Coordinate with office staff for transport needs, ensuring that all requests are handled in an efficient manner.
Monitor and manage the timing of transport requests, ensuring they align with office schedules.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure that all transportation activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards.
Conduct regular safety checks and assessments of vehicles and routes.

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including costs, scheduling, and any incidents.
Prepare regular reports for management on transportation costs, efficiency, and other metrics.


Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelors degree in logistics, supply chain, or business is a plus.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in transportation management, logistics, or a related field.
Prior experience working in a corporate office environment is a plus.
Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and transport laws.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Certifications:
Valid drivers license (if driving is required for the role).
Any transport or logistics certifications (e.g., fleet management) would be advantageous.


Working Hours:

This role will primarily be based during the AM shift (e.g., 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM) with some flexibility for emergencies or special requests.
