Job Description

Reporting Relationship: Assistant Manager - Ethics & Internship-->Chief Ethics Counsellor
Purpose of the Role: Ethics - To support the organizations ethical culture by assisting the Chief Ethics Counsellor in managing ethics-related matters, ensuring confidential and effective handling of concerns, promoting awareness of ethical standards, and serving as a trusted point of contact to uphold integrity, compliance, and transparency across the location. Internship Management - To build and manage an effective internship program that nurtures future talent and strengthens the organizations workforce pipeline.
Key Deliverables:
Ethics: -
- Assist CEC in managing ethics related cases and queries.
- Act as point of contact for ethics related matters/issues/documents.
- Handling Ethics concerns- receive/document/follow-up.
- Confidential case management.
- Support in organizing ethics trainings, workshops, and awareness sessions across the location.
- Monitoring and follow-up of concerns.
Internship Management:
- End-to-end management of Prime Mininter Internship (PMI) Scheme - to establish a structured and efficient process of PMI Scheme.
- Establish and maintain coordination with Tata Steel and its associated companies to identify and secure internship opportunities.
- Facilitate timely processing and disbursement of stipends to interns in coordination with the Accounts Team.
- Develop policies, guidelines, and SOPs for Internship programs.
- Act as the primary point of contact between interns, mentors, and business teams.
- Assign interns to departments and ensure clear role definitions and project allocation.
- Resolve intern-related issues in collaboration with line managers and HR partners.
- Define internship objectives, duration, learning outcomes and evaluation criteria for different functions.

Minimum Qualification: Graduation in any discipline. Candidates with masters degree in Human Resource or Finance, will be preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in HR, Ethics, or Vigilance roles.
