Role Overview:
This role is part of the Ethics & Integrity team at Swiggy. We strive to build a strong culture of Governance and Ethics, which serves as one of our key building blocks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investigations: Conduct end-to-end ethics investigations, including witness and subject interviews, data reviews and reporting. This includes internal investigations into alleged violations of Company Policies [e.g., theft, fraud, embezzlement, conflicts of interest, bribery, etc.]
- Documentation: Prepare work papers to adequately document investigations with supporting evidence. Provide effective recommendations and solutions for identified issues, ensuring business agreement and follow-through
- Root Cause Analysis: Assist in determining root causes and recommending corrective action plans to address concerns identified during investigations.
- Process Improvement: Review SOPs and processes to identify upstream opportunities. Work with Business, Product and Ops teams to develop sustainable solutions for root causes
- Framework Building: Assist in building policy and procedure frameworks. Collaborate with stakeholders to create awareness through training programs and strengthen the trust quotient of the ethics function
- Best Practices: Leverage leading investigation frameworks and methodologies. Stay informed of industry best practices and incorporate them into the functions workflows
- Remediation: Develop and track the progress of remedial action plans, ensuring timely completion of both disciplinary and process-related actions.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: CA/CFE or equivalent with 45 years of hands-on experience in managing extensive, complex and confidential investigations.
- Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, the ability to influence and an innovative yet empathetic approach.
- Technical Skills: Ability to understand technology; working knowledge of SQL and Power BI is a strong advantage.
- Communication: Strong written [English] and verbal communication skills. Multilingual proficiency is preferred.
- Attributes: High energy level, strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.
