ASSISTANT MANAGER - ESTIMATION

Location: Baner-Sus / Kharadi, Pune

Reports to: Head of Estimation or Senior Project Manager

Experience: 1–3 years in construction estimation

Team Size: Collaborative role within the Estimation Department

What Success Looks Like in 1 Year:

Consistently delivering accurate and timely cost estimates for all assigned projects.

Developing a deep understanding of local construction costs and market trends.

Building strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Contributing to the optimization of estimation processes and tools.

Responsibilities:

Analyze architectural and structural drawings to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project requirements.

Collaborate with project managers, architects, and vendors to refine estimates.

Maintain and update a database of material and labor costs.

Assist in the preparation of tender documents and bid submissions.

Monitor project budgets and provide regular cost reports.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering solutions.

Must-Have Experience (Non-Negotiable):

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in construction estimation, preferably in residential or commercial projects.

Proficiency in estimation software and tools.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Haves (Can Be Learned On-the-Job):

Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for quantity take-offs.

Knowledge of local construction codes and regulations.

Familiarity with project management software.

Certification in cost estimation or quantity surveying.

Work Mode: In Office

Travel: Occasional site visits within Pune and surrounding areas.
