Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  1. Expertise in EMS, automotive industry, APQP, PPAP, IATF, electric vehicle standards.
  2. Conduct PPAP audits, assess and approve suppliers.
  3. Track part development and FTG as per project timeline.
  4. Manage supply chain till SQA handover.
  5. Technical reviews for TSO, product validation (FTR, PTR, JPTR).
  6. Knowledge of capacity ramp-up, electrical parts (DC-DC, BMS, Charger, MCU, Battery, Clusters, wiring harness, switches, lighting, motors).
  7. Proficiency in control plan, PFMEA, DVP, FTG development, problem-solving (8D, QC tools, CAPA).
  8. Understand engineering drawings, DVP, testing.
  9. Drive development, manage SAP quality systems.
  10. Define process requirements, identify supplier base, sign-offs (technical, FTG, DFM).
  11. Coordinate PLI, FAME audits, homologation with ARAI auditors.
  12. Generate VAVE/IMCR cost reduction ideas.
