Position - Assistant Manager, Direct Taxation, ACG Group

Department - Corporate Finance

Location - Jogeshwari, Mumbai

Reporting to - Deputy General Manager, Taxation - Banking, ACG Group

Role & responsibilities

Job Objective

Compliance of Direct tax, Transfer Pricing and International tax.

Primary responsibilities

Strategic and planning

• Analysis of Preliminary data for Assessment details.
• Drafting of letters and preparation of Preliminary comparation chart to be submitted to Tax authorities (Section131, Section133(6), Section 143(1), Section 154)
• Preparation of basic information for Tax Returns.
• Preparation of SFT Returns for all operating companies.
• Reply to TDS and withholding Tax queries.
• Preliminary analysis of 3CD and Transfer Pricing report.

People development

• Responsibilities around driving culture and developing teams or stakeholders.
• Contribute towards development of talent for the department by providing subordinates with adequate exposure and growth opportunities to enable readiness for higher roles.

Key Result Areas

• Timely Completion of Tax assessment
• Timely filing of Income Tax Returns.
• Timely advice to group companies on withholding tax obligation.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• CA with 0-4 Years of experience in Direct Taxation
• Hands on experience in Transfer Pricing
• Experience into International taxation will add an advantage
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
• Communication skills Should be able to convey effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills ability to interact with a view to getting the job done across both external and internal stakeholders.
• Listening skills the role involves a lot of coordination across external & internal stakeholders & therefore listening to different viewpoints including its interpretation without which concluding or getting results will be difficult.
