Assistant Manager Design

Job Summary

The Designer will be responsible for developing new jewellery designs to be introduced at Khazana Jewellery. The role requires strong creativity supported by an understanding of market trends, customer preferences, and inputs from both front-end and back-end teams. The designer will also draw inspiration from industry sources such as jewellery exhibitions, competitor benchmarking, and global design trends to create innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative, high-quality jewellery designs that are ready for manufacturing, based on insights into market trends and gaps in the current product offerings.
• Ensure manufacturing feasibility of new designs by coordinating closely with vendor development and production teams.
• Conduct market, consumer, and competitor research to identify emerging design trends and themes.
• Identify and evaluate potential vendors for design development and collaboration.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for design vendors by defining the scope of work, monitoring output quality, and facilitating discussions with internal product teams when required.

Preferred Profile

• Degree in Jewellery Design, preferably from NIFT or another reputed design institution.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in jewellery design with a strong track record of product innovation and design development.
• Good understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes and market trends.
• Strong creativity, attention to detail, and coordination skills.
