Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy predictive, prescriptive, and AI/ML solutions (including LLMs, RAG pipelines, AI agents) for demand forecasting, production planning, quality, cost optimization, and operational decision support.
• Apply machine learning and advanced analytics to identify process inefficiencies, defect patterns, yield improvement opportunities, and predictive/preventive maintenance use cases across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
• Build and maintain semantic search and knowledge retrieval systems using vector databases and structured/unstructured enterprise data.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and performance metrics covering plant performance, sales trends, inventory, and customer insights.
• Translate analytics and AI insights into actionable recommendations for business, operations, and plant leadership.
• Collaborate with business, IT, and operations teams to implement, scale, and operationalize analytics and AI solutions, ensuring data quality, governance, and model performance.
• Own the end-to-end project lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and ongoing support, including stakeholder management and change management.
• Contribute to the digital, analytics, and AI roadmap and mentor junior team members..

Experience & Education

• 7-10 years of experience in Digital Analytics, Data Analytics, or Data Science
• Bachelors degree in engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field
• Ability to work with large datasets and optimize queries.
• Certifications like Lean Six Sigma, AWS/Azure Data Analytics,

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Python/R, SQL, and data analysis
• Good working knowledge with Gen-AI & RAG usecases.
• Exposure to ML models (regression, classification, forecasting)
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
• Understanding of manufacturing data (ERP, MES, SCM systems)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus
• Good communication and presentation skills
