Profile-Lead Assistant Manager | Financial Reporting

About the Company

It is one of Indias largest rigid plastic packaging companies and is preparing for a potential IPO in the near future. We are looking for a finance professional to lead the financial reporting function and ensure strong governance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IND AS / IFRS / Companies Act / SEBI regulations

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes

Handle financial consolidation across multiple plants/entities

Coordinate with external and internal auditors for audits and compliance

Strengthen internal controls and reporting processes

Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and financial insights for leadership

Support the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning

Provide guidance on technical accounting matters

Drive automation and process improvements in ERP/reporting systems

Collaborate with teams across FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Operations

Qualifications

Chartered Accountant (CA)

24 years of experience in financial reporting in a listed company

Strong knowledge of IND AS / IFRS and regulatory reporting
