About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager / Manager to join our Data Privacy Office with 46 years of experience in data privacy operations, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment. This role will focus on executing day-to-day privacy operational activities and supporting the organizations compliance with applicable global data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA).


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor privacy compliance activities across business units.
  • Conduct and document Privacy Impact Assessment and Data Protection Impact Assessment for new projects, vendors and systems.
  • Support the development, update, rollout and maintenance of data privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Track and respond to DSARs within regulatory timelines.
  • Assist the legal team in reviewing third-party and client contracts for privacy clauses and compliance.
  • Respond to client privacy questionnaires and assessments as part of third-party onboarding and periodic audits, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Coordinate with IT, legal, HR, and other departments on data security and privacy initiatives
  • Develop, update and maintain the data processing activities register ROPAs and DFD (GDPR Article 30).
  • Coordinate with IT and Security teams on privacy incidents and breach response.
  • Facilitate employee training sessions and awareness campaigns on privacy best practices.
  • Prepare documentation for internal audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Track, update and monitor the privacy risk register for timely closure of gaps and findings.
  • Stay informed on changes in data protection laws and update internal processes accordingly.


Requirements

  • 46 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a data privacy role.
  • Knowledge of global data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA).
  • Familiarity with privacy management tools and platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of data governance and information security principles.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Bachelors degree in law, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field; certifications like CIPP/E or CIPM preferred.
