Assistant Manager – Corporate Sustainability

This position is based at L&Ts Head Office within the Corporate Sustainability department at L&T Landmark (Andheri East) office.

Job Role: Assistant Manager Corporate Sustainability

Qualifications

Masters degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or related field.

3-5 years relevant experience in ESG/sustainability (EPC, infra, consulting preferred).

Familiarity with ESG frameworks (GRI, IR, BRSR)

Strong analytical, data management, and reporting skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel for ESG data analysis and Powerpoint

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Role Overview

Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability strategies and implementation across L&Ts diverse business verticals. The role involves driving ESG initiatives, ensuring compliance, data management and enhancing disclosures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support sustainability KPI tracking and reporting (environmental and non-environmental)
• Collect, validate, and analyze data across business units.
• Assist in preparing sustainability disclosures (BRSR, IR, CDP, DJSI, etc.).
• Monitor compliance with environmental and ESG regulations.
• Support internal/external stakeholder engagement
• Assist in sustainability initiatives on decarbonization, circular economy, supply chain etc.
• Research and benchmark global best practices to support continuous improvement.
