Job Description
Assistant Manager Contracts & Commercials (Transportation)
Location: Bangalore Office
Experience: 35 Years
Industry: Transportation / Infrastructure
Key Responsibilities
- Support bid management activities including cost estimation, commercial evaluation, and tender submissions.
- Assist in contract management activities such as contract review, administration, and compliance.
- Monitor project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Prepare and review claims, variations, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with project, finance, and procurement teams to ensure commercial alignment.
- Ensure adherence to applicable contractual, statutory, and organizational guidelines.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering with 35 years of relevant experience in Bid Management, Contract Management, and Project Financials.
- PGDM in Construction Management preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project (MSP), and Primavera.
- Working knowledge of PMBOK, GFR, FIDIC Conditions, Indian Contracts Act, CVC Guidelines, and Reconciliation Act.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts such as EBITDA, IRR, NPV, CPI, etc.
- Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to transportation / infrastructure projects (Railways, Highways, Metro, etc.) will be an added advantage.
