Job Title:
Assistant Manager Community Innovation & Development
Qualification Required:
- Masters degree in Rural Development / Social Work / Development Studies / Agriculture / Management or allied disciplines
- Minimum 23 years of experience in rural development, livelihoods, community projects, or innovation-led programs
Job Description :
- Support planning and implementation of rural development and grassroots innovation projects in assigned regions.
- Work closely with rural communities, innovators, farmers, SHGs, and local institutions to identify needs, challenges, and solutions.
- Assist in scouting, documentation, and field validation of grassroots innovations, traditional knowledge, and sustainable practices.
- Coordinate with district officials, NGOs, academic institutions, and partner organizations for smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, collect field data, and prepare reports, case studies, and impact documentation.
- Facilitate capacity-building programs, workshops, and awareness sessions for rural stakeholders and innovators.
- Support livelihood generation, value addition, and market linkage initiatives emerging from grassroots innovations.
- Ensure community participation, inclusivity, and ethical engagement aligned with GIANs mission and values.
Experience Requirement:
- 23 years of hands-on experience in rural development projects, field coordination, or community-based programs.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in rural and remote areas.
