Job Description

This role is responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Financial modules. As a functional system specialist, the candidate will partner closely with finance stakeholders to manage enhancements, change requests, reconciliations, audits, and issue resolution. The role also involves requirement analysis, solution design, supporting UAT, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure system stability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Implementation & Configuration:

  • Implement and configure Oracle Fusion Financial modules such as AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, Expenses, and Tax.
  • Conduct requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional specifications.
  • Perform setups, testing, and validation of financial modules.

2. Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Provide day-to-day support for Oracle Fusion Financial applications.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues, including configuration and process-related problems.
  • Coordinate with Oracle Support for SR (Service Request) creation, follow-up, and resolution.

3. Process Testing, Control & Validation:

  • Analyze existing financial processes and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure controls are in place.
  • Ensure compliances are met through the system

4. Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work with finance teams, project managers, technical teams, and business partners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Conduct user training sessions and prepare training materials.
  • Assist in change management and post-go-live support activities. 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: MBA / Post graduate in commerce or related domain (preferred).
  • Strong experience in implementing and configuring key Oracle Fusion Financial modules (AP, AR, GL, FA, CM, Expenses, Tax).
  • Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and system setups.
  • Proven skills in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and coordinating with Oracle Support.
  • Understanding of financial controls and compliance within an ERP system.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in conducting user training and assisting with change management.
