Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager - Capital Markets UAT Testing Specialist!
In this role, we are looking for an experienced Capital Market Domain Testing Specialist with a strong background in functional testing for hedge fund clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual regression testing, automation testing, fund services application testing, and trade support manual testing. Candidate should have experience in Functional Testing, Black-Box Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing, Ad-hoc testing. They should also be proficient in creating detailed test case scenarios.

Responsibilities
Functional Testing:
Conduct functional testing for various banking and hedge fund applications to ensure they meet business requirements and specifications.
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both manual and automated testing processes.
Regression and Automation Testing:
Perform manual regression testing to ensure new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
Utilize automation tools to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency and accuracy.

Fund Services Application Testing:
Test fund services applications, ensuring that all features are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Work closely with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Trade Support Manual Testing:
Conduct manual testing of trade support applications to validate transaction processing and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with trade support teams to understand business workflows and implement appropriate testing strategies.
Test Case Development:
Create comprehensive test case scenarios that cover all aspects of application functionality and performance.
Ensure test cases are up-to-date, well-documented, and aligned with business objectives.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in functional testing within the banking domain, preferably with Capital Markets experience, hedge fund clients.
Experience with manual regression and automation testing tools and methodologies.
Proficiency in testing tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of fund services and trade support processes.
Ability to create detailed and effective test plans and test cases.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
Bachelors degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Experience in Capital Markets preferred
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus
