Assistant Manager - Business Finance

In this role, youll work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive budget efficiency, implement robust financial controls, and play a key role in shaping the financial future of one of the regions leading e-commerce platforms.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Prepare, update, and implement annual, quarterly, and monthly budgets
• Conduct Budget vs Actual reporting with variance analysis and insights
• Collaborate with business units to align budgets and annual operating plans with KPIs
• Prepare monthly/quarterly MIS reports with business performance summaries
• Plan and manage working capital to support business needs and growth
• Review business processes, introduce automation, and financial controls for better efficiency
• Analyze and make recommendations on accounting, tax, and IFRS updates
• Support special assignments such as due diligence, internal controls assessments, and securities listings
• Review contracts, financial commitments, and transactions to ensure alignment with company policies

What Youll Bring:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Professional qualifications like CPA/CA/CMA are a plus)
• Post qualification 1-3 years of experience in finance roles with strong exposure to budgeting, MIS reporting, and process improvement
• Strong understanding of IFRS, financial regulations, and working capital optimization
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial tools/ERP systems
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• A proactive approach to solving problems and improving processes
