Roles & Responsibilities:
- US information reporting for both inbound and outbound. This includes, but is not limited to, preparation of forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 8621, 926 and 1120-F.
- Preparation of foreign forms for inbound transactions and associated tax withholding (i.e., forms 1042/1042-S, 8804, 8805, and 8288)
- Obtain a basic understanding of U.S. international tax concepts, such as, Global Intangible Low Taxed Income (GILTI), Subpart F income, and previously taxed earnings, and profits.
- Prepare GILTI and subpart F income calculations.
- Interact, coordinate, and collaborate with all levels of the team to ensure timeliness and effective communication on engagements.
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects, effectively prioritize, manage others, and meet deadlines.
- Exhibit exceptional client relationship management and client service skills.
Desired Skills (Technical & Behavioral):
- 5-8 years of experience preferably with a focus on international taxation.
- Good Communication Skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and tax preparation software (i.e., CCH Axcess)
- Strong people management/Client Management experience.
- Strong analytical, research and critical thinking skills as well as decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or another business-related field.
- A CPA license or exams passed is highly recommended
