AB InBev India is looking to hire Manager-Brewery Finance Controller for its plant at.

Primary Purpose of the role

  • Responsible for providing support for Brewerys financial requirements.
  • Financial discipline, maintaining budgetary and internal controls in line with SOPs
  • Responsible for tracking business performance, ensuring compliance, and Cost Centre-wise alignment of all financial transactions.
  • Working on Month close, Journals, Accruals and Tax entries
  • Controlling the Brewery Inventory, Fixed Assets and verifying the E2E GL schedules for

Respective Brewery with clear understanding of open points

Working with all the Audit requirements and coordinating

Key Tasks & Accountabilities

  1. Cost Leadership
  2. Oversight of the plant's closing cycle, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the results including transfer price, VIC/VLC, ZBB and plant asset booking.
  3. Ensure first time right postings, Avoid accounting errors and postings of manual journals.
  4. Managing plant inventory and capital expenditure (CAPEX). This involves ensuring compliance with booking procedures, onsite management, and reviewing internal process compliance.
  5. Think out of box and initiate Cost Savings by optimizing cash management!
  6. Controls & Compliance
  7. Serve as the first line of defence and oversee the execution of controls as defined by Internal Control.
  8. Ensuring that the brewery's assigned controls accurately reflect the reality of the processes. This includes reviewing the PR-GR cycle,
  9. Co-product lifecycle, and returnable package management.
  10. Oversee both internal and external tax reporting for the plant. Work closely with the tax team to ensure timely completion of tax filings.
  11. Financial Planning & Analysis:
  12. Support the Financial Planning and PPM teams on the forecast by providing inputs for LE & 1 year plan
  13. Treasury & Audits
  14. Providing assistance w.r.t clean Audit Statutory, Tax and other Govt. Audits
  15. Plan the availability of funds for Excise, Customs duty, taxes and other payments on time.
  16. Acting as a Local Subject Matter Experts (SME) of entire region for all Finance and Control activities.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

Education & Experience

Education

  • Qualified CA Preferred / MBA (Finance)

Experience

3+ years preferably in manufacturing setup or equivalent management experience + Article ship / Internship

Skills/Knowledge:

  1. Exceptional Organizational & Time Management Skills
  2. Ability to lead and inspire people
  3. Good commercial acumen
  4. High level of communication and interpersonal skills
  5. Ability to build effective relationships.
  6. Reasonable knowledge in SAP S4 Finance & Inventory modules along with advanced excel knowledge.
