About the Role

The role involves managing tax compliance and ensuring accurate financial reporting related to TDS and other tax obligations.

Responsibilities

Monthly TDS payment computation and compliance
Verification of monthly tax deduction from employee salaries
Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS/TCS returns
Quarterly & Annual issuance of Form 16A, Form 27D and Form 16
Verification of Full & Final settlement files for accurate tax calculation and deduction
Verification and system updation of new joiner income details & perquisites income
Investment declaration verification for tax deduction purposes
Handling and compliance of Income Tax notices
Verification of CAPEX vouchers submitted by the team
Follow-up on project vendor advances with project functions
Monitoring GRN pending cases for bill submission and reporting
Preparation and follow-up of open CAPEX PO reports for closure
Preparation of project vendor advance ageing reports for MIS
Preparation and submission of project vendor payable ageing reports from SAP
Scrutiny and detailed analysis of Repairs & Maintenance GLs
Compliance with auditor requirements related to taxation

Required Criteria

Candidate should preferably have a pharmaceutical background.
Current or previous company turnover should be more than 1,000 Cr, preferably from the manufacturing industry.
SAP knowledge is mandatory.
Candidate should be stable in organizations (minimum 23 years per company; avoid frequent job changes).
Shared-services or third-party payroll experiences not considered.
