Assistant Manager - Bids & Proposals

Job Description Summary

We’re currently searching for an experienced business development professional who can work on bids/proposals as per business requirements, collaborate with internal stakeholders and interact with clients to understand the requirements of the business opportunity and RFPs. Our ideal candidate will be able to navigate and deliver throughout the RFP process – from understanding the opportunity, going through the bids documents, taking approvals, preparing effective bids & presentations, collaborate with stakeholders, preparing P&L, creating opportunity in Engage, closing LOA/agreements with clients.

Job Description

-Leading end-to-end bid process, including opportunity identification, necessary approvals, qualification and proposal submission.

-Developing and executing bid strategies that align with the company’s goals and client requirements.

-Coordinating with various teams, including operations, procurement, technology, legal and finance to ensure all aspects of a bid are addressed.

-Managing bidding budgets, resource planning and timelines to ensure on-time and high-quality proposal submissions.

-Customizing response and solution for the new pitches basis the requirement. Maintaining comprehensive and accurate bid documentation, including bid files, records of communication and pricing information.

-Participating in negotiation sessions to secure favourable terms and conditions while focusing on profitability.

-Ensuring compliance with client requirements, regulations and industry standards. Monitoring and evaluating bid performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

-Lead and coordinate the entire bid management process, including reviewing bid invitations, conducting bid/no-bid analysis and establishing timelines. Develop compelling and persuasive bid content, including executive summaries, value propositions, pricing models and technical responses.

-Managing timelines, resources, and ensuring the bid meets all requirements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as procurement, operations, and subject matter experts, to gather information and develop bid strategies.

-Maintaining MIS, Reports, Trackers for the management and internal reviews. Preparing presentation and case studies as a tailor-made solution for new pitches.

-Working and successful submission of multi-location PAN India RFPs Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions. Provide continuous, constructive feedback to stakeholders.

-Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines. Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.

-Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services.

Experience and qualifications

Min 2–3-year experience in preparing bids/proposals, client interaction, managing sales educational background in business, marketing, or finance

Skills required

Proven record of sales growth  Strong knowledge of business and sales growth techniques  Exceptional time management skills. Clear verbal and written communication skills  Sharp negotiation skills and collaboration skills with stakeholders. Motivation for sales Prospecting skills ,Analytical skills . Should be well versed with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Salesforce, SharePoint etc. Presentation skills, Organizational skills, Problem-solving skills
