Assistant jewellery Designer

Vasundhara Raj Luxury Jewelleryis looking for a creative and technically soundAssistant Jewellery Designerto join our design atelier in Dehradun. This role is perfect for a designer who can bridge the gap between a clients vision and a finished masterpiece.

As an Assistant Designer, you will work closely with our Inventory & Operations teams to bring custom gold and diamond jewellery to life, ensuring every piece meets our standards of luxury and technical precision.

• Custom Design Excellence:Create bespoke designs for gold and diamond jewellery based on specific customer requirements.
• Artistic Mastery:Expertly producehand-sketchesfor initial client approvals and conceptualization.
• Technical Design:Develop detailed designs for plain gold and pointer-sized diamond jewellery across22kt, 18kt, and 14ktvariants.
• Tech-Forward Workflow:UtiliseCAD(Matrix/Rhino) andAI design toolsto enhance the design process and provide realistic renderings.
• Material Coordination:Work with the Inventory team to understand the availability of precious metals (Gold, Platinum), Diamonds, Polki, and Gemstones to ensure designs are production-ready.
• Collaborative Operations:Coordinate with the manufacturing and operations team to ensure design feasibility and timely order fulfilment.
  

• Software Proficiency:Well-versed inCAD(Rhino/Matrix) and relevant jewellery design software.
• AI Savvy:Knowledge of usingAI toolsfor design inspiration and rendering.
• Material Knowledge:A strong understanding of precious metals, diamonds, Polki, and gemstones.
• Mathematical Aptitude:Basic knowledge of mathematics for calculating metal weights, diamond carats, and proportions.
• Communication:Fluent in bothHindi and Englishto effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
• Soft Skills:A calm, respectful, and professional demeanour towards colleagues and stakeholders.
• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Design or related fields.
