Role Description:


The AGM SCM (Procurement) will manage and streamline procurement operations across the assigned region, ensuring cost efficiency, timely delivery, strong vendor governance, and compliance. The role will support the setup and strengthening of the procurement function, drive sustainable sourcing initiatives, and build a capable regional procurement team that supports multi-site FM operations.


Key Responsibility Areas:


Procurement Operations (Regional)

Manage day-to-day procurement of hard services, soft services,

consumables, AMC/CMC, MRO items, and project materials for regional

sites.

Ensure timely PR-to-PO cycle, vendor coordination, and material/service

availability across locations.

Maintain compliance with procurement policies, documentation standards,

and audit requirements.


Setting Up & Strengthening Procurement Processes

Support creation and rollout of procurement SOPs, category frameworks,

and approval workflows.

Standardize vendor onboarding, rate contracts, and category-wise cost

benchmarks for regional operations.

Contribute to implementation and adoption of ERP/e-procurement tools.


Sustainable Procurement

Implement sustainability-driven sourcing: energy-efficient equipment,

eco-friendly materials, waste-reduction consumables, and compliant

contractors.

Ensure vendor adherence to safety, labour, environmental, and ethical

sourcing norms.

Track and report sustainability metrics such as green-spend percentage and

compliant vendor ratio


Vendor Management & Commercial Governance

Identify, empanel, and manage local/regional vendors and service partners.

Conduct performance reviews, rate negotiations, and contract renewals.

Resolve escalations related to service gaps, quality concerns, and delivery

issues.


Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Support

Lead and mentor regional buyers/executives; build capability in negotiation,

compliance, and category knowledge.

Work closely with Operations, Projects, Finance, EHS, and Admin teams for

procurement planning and coordination.

Support mobilization of new sites and client transitions within the region.

Client interfacing skills


Supplier Identification and Evaluation:

Conduct thorough research to locate suitable suppliers for designated

product or service categories.

Assess potential suppliers based on criteria including cost-effectiveness,

quality standards, reliability, and regulatory.

Monitor supplier performance and foster strong relationships to ensure

ongoing collaboration.


Negotiation and Contract Management:

Engage in negotiations with suppliers to secure advantageous contract

terms and pricing.

Oversee existing contracts to ensure adherence to agreements and swiftly

resolve any arising issues.


Market Analysis and Trend Monitoring:

Continuously monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and

advancements within the industry.

Evaluate market conditions to uncover opportunities for optimizing costs

and enhancing processes.


Data Management and Reporting:

Keep precise records of supplier data, contractual obligations, and performance indicators.

Prepare reports that provide stakeholders with valuable insights into sourcing activities and

results.

Cost Reduction Initiatives:

Identify strategies for cost reduction through careful supplier negotiations and process

enhancements.

Monitor and analyze cost metrics, identifying areas ripe for further savings.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Evaluate risks associated with suppliers and the supply chain, devising strategies to mitigate

potential impacts.

Formulate contingency plans to prepare for any disruptions in supply continuity.


Risk Management & Compliance


Identify and mitigate supply chain disruptions, geopolitical risks, and capacity constraints

Ensure compliance with regulatory, customs, trade, and safety requirements

Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans


Financial & Performance Management

Manage supply chain budgets, cost controls, and P&L impact

Track and improve KPIs,

Support strategic decisions through data-driven insights


Must Have Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation & commercial acumen
  • Vendor governance & contracting skills
  • Team leadership & stakeholder management
  • Understanding of FM categories (MEP, HVAC, HK, Security, Utilities)
  • Sustainability & compliance orientation
  • Analytical skills and process mindset


Qualification & Experience:

  • 710 years of procurement/supply chain experience, preferably in Facility
  • Management, Infra Services, or Technical Services.
  • Strong knowledge of AMC/CMC contracts, manpower/service contracts,
  • MEP/FM consumables, and vendor ecosystems.
  • Bachelors degree (Engineering/Commerce); MBA/SCM certifications
  • preferred.
  • Experience with ERP/e-procurement tools (SAP/Oracle/Zoho/Ariba/Coupa)
