Role Description

Sr. Engineer/ Engineer - Design

Multiple

Responsible for preparing all design related drawings as required for execution of fresh and running projects

The Design Network Modelling Engineer will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and optimizing network models to support the design and execution of EPC projects. The role involves using advanced simulation tools, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and project requirements.

Network Design & Modelling

· Develop detailed network models for systems such as telecom, electrical, or fluid networks (e.g., pipelines, power grids).

· Simulate system performance and analyze data to optimize design.

· Create and validate models using software like ETAP, MATLAB, OPNET, AutoCAD, or similar tools.

Technical Documentation & Standards

· Prepare and maintain detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.

· Ensure compliance with international and project-specific design standards (e.g., IEEE, ASME, ITU-T).

Collaboration & Coordination

· Work closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, construction, and project management.

· Coordinate with vendors and clients to understand requirements and incorporate feedback into designs.

Feasibility Studies & Risk Analysis

· Perform feasibility studies to assess the technical viability of network solutions.

· Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for design-related challenges.

Project Execution Support

· Provide technical support during procurement and construction phases.

· Participate in design reviews, site visits, and quality assurance activities.

Measurable Deliverables

· 8+ years of relevant experience in network design or EPC projects.

· Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

-       Graduate/ Master’s in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree

Technical Skills

· Expertise in network modelling and design tools (e.g., GIS software, SCADA systems, simulation tools).

· Strong knowledge of networking protocols, infrastructure, and topologies.

Experience levels required to execute this role

E.g. 8+ yrs of experience as a senior Engineer  in  infrastructure company
