Assistant Designer- Textile

Brand- TCNS (W for Women)

Core Responsibility

• Research trends + study the market to understand whats next
• Create stories, moodboards and color palettes that capture the brands design philosophy
• Develop original print designs , elements, layouts, and unusual concepts
• Explore print concepts, colors and techniques that push boundaries while staying true to the brand
• Source fabrics, trims and materials to bring concepts alive
• Apply knowledge of printing techniques to ensure designs translate seamlessly to fabrics
• Collaborate with sourcing team, CAD and khakha artists to make sure quality and timelines are met
• Contribute to the overall collection looks with innovative textile inputs

Requirement

• Graduate from NIFT / NID / Pearl (Textile / Design background)
• 0-2 Years of experience
• Tech savvy: adobe photoshop , pro-create, canva, AI led design tools
• Strong foundation in prints, color, and fabrics
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and great at follow-ups
• Excellent time management & collaboration skills
• A curious mind that thrives on fresh ideas and bold experiments
• Keen interest to explore Generative AI tools in design creation process
