Assistant Claims Manager

Position Title: Assistant Manager / Manager Motor Claims

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 36 years in Motor Insurance Claims (Two-Wheeler & Four-Wheeler)

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to manage motor insurance claims efficiently. This role involves assessing losses, coordinating with surveyors and workshops, ensuring compliance with IRDAI guidelines, and delivering exceptional service to policyholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle motor insurance claims for two-wheelers and four-wheelers
• Assess losses, appoint IRDAI-approved surveyors, and review reports
• Communicate repair approvals and claim status to customers
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with IRDAI regulations
• Liaise with workshops and surveyors for onboarding/offboarding and query resolution
• Assist grievance team in resolving escalated complaints
• Conduct quality checks before final settlement
• Visit workshops to address operational issues and improve service quality

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of motor insurance claims process
• Familiarity with IRDAI guidelines and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet TAT
• Good organizational and time management skills

Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Automobile Engineering or related field
• Additional training in insurance or claims management preferred
