Job Description

1)    Plan, direct, or coordinate gaming operations in a casino. May formulate house rules. 

.

 

 

1.      Oversee and actively manage the Slot and Table Game departments.

2.      Serve as the Key on Duty (KOD), when assigned, for the entire property.

3.      Ensure decisions made for Slots and Table Game departments or while acting as KOD are beneficial to both the casino operation and guest satisfaction.

4.      Maintain an upbeat and positive attitude, create positive energy with gestures and sustain enthusiasm from one interaction to the next.

5.      Act as a customer service role model for all team members.

6.      Stimulate business and develop quality players through personal interaction.

7.      Ensure technical proficiency of all Slots and Table Game team members through training, coaching and performance management.

8.      Possess a thorough working knowledge of all casino games certified to deal.

9.      Documented strong knowledge of department policies and procedures including those pertaining to Federal and Regulatory laws and guidelines.

10.   Ensure technical proficiency of all Slots and Table Game team members through training, coaching and performance management.

11.   Exercise appropriate discretion in identifying situations that require management attention.

12.   Assist and advise other departments and Company personnel as necessary to ensure the successful performance of Casino Operations and the property in general.

13.   Complete all required daily financial tasks and reports using the appropriate tools Oversee daily Casino Operations.

14.   Delegate authority and assign responsibilities and work schedules to Slots and Table Game department team members and monitor for timely and proper completion.

15.   Assist with monitoring Slots and Table Game department staffing levels to ensure superior guest service and budgetary compliance.

16.   Mediate and solve problems for team members and guests, and establish/maintain effective lines of communication throughout Operations and across all shifts.

17.   Interact as intermediary with guests for Alcohol Intervention, and TiPS enforcement on behalf of the dealers, beverage servers and other Team Members on the floor.

18.   Promote a safe work environment and report and/or eliminate any potential safety hazards.

19.   Observe and analyze the integrity of play and activity of guests and team members.

20.   Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management.

21.   Act as a role model; always present oneself as a credit to Casino.

22.   Promote Total Rewards programs and card membership.

23.   Create an atmosphere of luck and celebrates guest’s wins.

24.   Provide a warm farewell and thanks guests for visiting.

25.   Delight our guests with outstanding service.

26.   Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures in an ethical manner.

27.   Responsible for keeping assigned section safe and orderly.

28.   Train new workers or evaluate their performance.

29.   Resolve customer complaints regarding problems such as payout errors.

30.   Monitor staffing levels to ensure that games and tables are adequately staffed for each shift, arranging for staff rotations and breaks and locating substitute employees as necessary.
