Role Description

This position will oversee and manage all financial and accounting operations at the plant, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, accurate financial reporting, and efficient cost management.


Key Responsibilities:


  1. Inventory Control and Reporting
  • Monitor inventory levels and perform reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Generate periodic inventory reports and identify discrepancies.
  • Work with relevant teams to optimize inventory processes.


2.Budgetary Control & MIS Preparations

  • Assist in preparing the annual budget and monitoring adherence.
  • Analyze budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present timely and accurate MIS reports for management.


3.Cost Sheet Preparation

  • Develop and maintain cost sheets for products and services.
  • Analyze cost data to support decision-making and cost control.


4.Controlling of Accounts Payable

  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
  • Monitor vendor accounts and resolve payment issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.


5.GST Compliance

  • Ensure timely filing of GST returns and adherence to all GST regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation for GST audits and assessments.


6.TDS Compliance

  • Manage TDS-related activities, including accurate deductions and return filings.
  • Address queries related to TDS compliance and reconciliation.


7.Fixed Asset Management

  • Maintain an updated record of fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
  • Ensure accurate calculation and recording of depreciation.
  • Conduct periodic physical verification of assets.


8.Monthly Closing and Reporting

  • Perform month-end financial closings, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to management.
  • Address queries related to financial performance.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setup.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
