Assistant Accountant

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant based in Pune. The Assistant Accountant will assist with preparing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining financial records. Additional responsibilities include supporting audits, preparing tax documentation, tracking budgets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and providing timely financial insights will also be key aspects of this role.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and bank reconciliation
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounts management, such as managing accounts payable and receivable
• Ability to analyze financial data, ensure compliance with regulations, and handle tax documentation
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Relevant education in accounting, finance, or a related field; a degree in accounting or finance is preferred
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus
