Job Purpose

Relevant Experience:

1-2 years of experience in Banking and Finance Industry.

Functional Competencies:

  • Good Knowledge in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word.)                
  • Verbal communication skills with fluency in Hindi as well as English.
  • Handling face to face customers.          
  • Understanding the query of customers and providing solutions accordingly.                             

Behavioral Competencies:

  • Attitude towards taking ownership and commitment to deliver the responsibilities.             
  • Intra-personal skills for better coordination between different functions.                     
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment, multitasking while keeping focus on the customer centric activities.            
  • Team Player / Ability to work under pressure / Over manage the Work volume.               

 

Job Responsibilities:                         

Financial

  • The ASO should maintain a cash register that includes a summary of the day's opening balance, collections, offloads, and closing balance. The cash register must be signed and verified daily by the Branch Manager or designated staff members.
  • Daily collections should be deposited at the appointed branch. The Liability ASO will deposit the cash at the liability branch, while the Asset ASO will deposit it at their mapped liability branch.
  • Cash collection will be carried out by bikers in all asset branches where the biker facility is available. In branches without this facility, the ASO will be responsible for depositing the cash.
  • The ASO should secure overnight cash in a fixed safe vault with dual locks. Vault keys must be held by two different employees, and the details should be updated in the branch key register.
  • The ASO should prepare a packet containing the "Daily Cash Summary" along with "Acknowledgment Slips," which must be sent to the central team weekly.
  • The Branch Manager or designated staff members should conduct routine cash verification activities.
  • The ASO should send a scanned copy of the vault cash register to the central team on a fortnightly basis.
  • Complaint Handling: Address complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the designated time frame to ensure resolution
  • Cross Sales Target: Asset Service Officers (ASOs) shall be assigned specific cross-sales targets, which will be monitored and evaluated.
  • Asset Service Officers (ASOs) shall be responsible for addressing all Asset-related Queries, Requests, and Complaints (QRCs) raised through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. ASOs must ensure timely resolution and effective management of the Service Request (SRs in the operational guidelines.
