Job Description

Must-Have

Perform proactive and regular tasks to ensure iSeries systems availability in line with SLA agreements.
Plan and design iSeries system upgrades and OS upgrades.
Demonstrate working experience in server migration and data centre migration.
Exhibit proven knowledge in tape management and Virtual Tape Library (VTL).

Resolve IBMi communication issues effectively.

Provide 24x7 support for the iSeries platform as per on-call requirements.

Good-to-Have

Experience with job schedulers.
Exposure to Precisely MIMIX.
Good knowledge of Hardware Management Console (HMC).
Experience in Digital Certificate Management (DCM).
Working experience with IBMi Navigator.
Ability to understand and resolve complex interdependencies.
Working knowledge of IBM Systems Resource Management (SRM).
Experience with Sky tap for AS400.
Good knowledge of AS400 system design and integration with third-party tools.
