AS400 COBOL Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AS400 / COBOL400 Technical Resource to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in COBOL400 and CL400 programming, with hands-on experience in batch debugging, complex code analysis, and SQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance COBOL400 and CL400 programs.
• Perform batch debugging and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Conduct complex code analysis to optimize performance and ensure code quality.
• Write and optimize SQL queries related to AS400 systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust technical solutions.
• Document system configurations, code changes, and technical procedures.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7 to 10 years of experience in AS400 / COBOL400 development.
• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL400 and CL400.
• Proficiency in batch debugging and complex code analysis.
• Solid understanding of SQL and database management.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
