Job Description
We are looking for AS400 ADMIN professionals, please find below JD :-
- Minimum 4-6 years of experience in iSeries, AS400 System Administration with o work management, o user management, journal management and performance management.
- Proven experience in IBM I , OS/400,V7R4 and above and Hardware Power 9, 10 systems.
- Expertise in applying PTF and tools upgrade for on AS400.
- Demonstrable skills in iBMi o native job scheduler and o Advanced Job Scheduler, iSeries Navigator, IBMi Access Client Solution.
- Experience in Backup and Recovery Media Services (BRMS).
- Manage the Backups,Scheduling,Modification.
- Identify the actions required to handle error messages and system reference codes, SAL PAL HMC, QSYSOPR.
- Handling hardware related issues (Tape Library, Hardware management console, disk failure etc) backup issues, distribution queue issues.
- Maintenance activity in the AS400 servers to replace any H/W or upgrade activity.
- Support Disaster Recovery planning and tests as scheduled.
- Lead daily Operations meetings provided there are no P1 incidents running.
- Server Up gradation in hardware/Software/OS coordinating with IBM
