What you’ll do:
Candidates should apply advanced subject matter knowledge to advise suitable Campus Network Edge solution to customers to achieve their desired business objectives. The solution may involve Wired infrastructure e.g., switches, routers and/or wireless infrastructure e.g., Access Points, Wireless Controllers, Management tool, End point security tools etc. The candidate will have to design, implement & migrate the campus solution in respect to the areas mentioned above.
Candiate to work on complex problems, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Candidate to lead and/or provide technical expertise to functional project teams, may participate in Cross-Functional initiatives, act as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. He/She will frequently represent the organization to external customers/clients. He/She should exercise significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine the best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. He/She may provide mentoring and guidance to junior level employees. He/She must frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods.
Responsibilities:
- Design/Assess/Implement/Deploy/Migration of Campus Wired and Wireless solution in multivendor environment including Aruba products.
- Leads multiple project teams of other engineers, responsible for all stages of design and deployment for complex enterprise network environment and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
- Provides domain-specific expertise on enterprise networking for delivery and pursuit phase.
- Drives innovation and integration of new technologies or methodologies into projects.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
What you need to bring:
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expert level skills and extensive experience in design/implementation/configuration/deployment/Migration/troubleshooting of Wired (Aruba AOS/AOS-CX) & Wireless Network primarily in Aruba (or Cisco Wireless as secondary skillset) Wireless infrastructure comprising of Aruba Mobility controllers, IAPs, Gateway, Aruba Central, Airwave, ClearPass.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor in Degree especially in Computer Science (e.g. BE, B.Tech).
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in professional service (Design/Architecture/Deployment/Migration) in Campus Edge solutions (Wired and Wireless).
- [Mandatory] have 3-4 Years of design, implementation, configuration & migration experience in large scale Aruba campus edge Wired & Wireless Networking technologies which includes Aruba CX switches, Aruba CAP/IAP, Controllers, AOS 8.0/10.0, Airwave & Central, and Aruba Activate with an excellent in-depth knowledge of Generic wireless network design/implementation.
- [Mandatory] have 1-2 years of recent experience in Clearpass deployment, implementation, configuration including Policy Manager, Guest Solution, OnGuard, OnBoard, 802.1x, TACACS.
- [Mandatory] Excellent communication skills, Documentation skills.
- [Preferred] As a secondary skillset Cisco routing and switching & Cisco Wireless would add advantage.
- [Preferred] DevOps skills in Networking field e.g., API/Scripting experience in wired and wireless domain.
Certification:
- Preferred: ACMP/ACMX/ACDX or at a minimum any professional level Aruba Certification.
- Preferred: CCNP/CCDP (R&S/Wireless), Ekahau ECSE, Aruba ACCP/ACCX/ACSP/AWMP/ACA/ASA or any vendor professional level certification
