Artificial intelligence lead

Job description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AI Lead to drive the design, implementation, and governance of advanced AI solutions across the organization. This role will focus on Responsible AI practices, AI governance, data security, and the integration of AI into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Anthropic (Claude), along with proven expertise in building Agentic AI systems and multi-agent workflows.

Key Responsibilities

AI Strategy & Leadership

• Define and lead the organizations AI strategy, governance framework, and responsible AI practices.
• Establish best practices for ethical AI usage, model transparency, and bias mitigation.
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to identify AI-driven opportunities.

AI Governance & Responsible AI

• Develop and enforce AI governance policies and compliance frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to data privacy, regulatory, and ethical standards.
• Implement controls for model monitoring, explainability, and risk management.

Data Security & Compliance

• Design and enforce secure AI architectures aligned with enterprise data protection policies.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2, or similar frameworks.
• Work closely with security teams to mitigate risks related to data leakage and model misuse.

AI Integration into SDLC

• Integrate AI capabilities across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including development, testing, and DevOps.
• Define best practices for AI-driven testing, automation, and deployment pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed AI into existing applications and workflows.

LLM & Generative AI Development

• Design and implement solutions using LLMs such as OpenAI (ChatGPT) and Anthropic (Claude).
• Develop prompt engineering strategies, fine-tuning approaches, and evaluation frameworks.
• Build scalable applications leveraging Generative AI and NLP capabilities.

Agentic AI & Multi-Agent Systems

• Design and implement Agentic AI systems and multi-agent workflows.
• Build intelligent agents capable of autonomous decision-making and task orchestration.
• Develop frameworks for agent collaboration, memory, and context management.

Required Technical Skills

AI / ML & LLMs

• Strong experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Hands-on experience with OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude) or similar platforms
• Expertise in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and evaluation techniques

Architecture & Engineering

• Experience designing scalable AI architectures and distributed systems
• Strong understanding of API integrations and microservices-based architectures

AI Governance & Security

• Experience implementing AI governance frameworks and responsible AI practices
• Strong understanding of data security, compliance, and risk management

DevOps & SDLC Integration

• Experience integrating AI into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools

Programming & Tools

• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-agent frameworks and orchestration tools
• Exposure to AI observability and monitoring tools
• Knowledge of enterprise data platforms and data engineering workflows
• Prior experience leading AI transformation initiatives

Education

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
