Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead AI Engineer to architect and deliver production-grade Generative AI and agentic AI systems. This is an individual-contributor leadership role focused on building scalable, secure, and high-performance AI applications from concept to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build Generative AI and agentic applications using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, etc.

Implement RAG pipelines with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, etc.) and enterprise search systems.

Develop scalable microservices using Python/JavaScript following SOLID principles and clean architecture.

Deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS/GCP/Azure using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).

Optimize LLM performance for accuracy, latency, and cost using prompt engineering and context optimization.

Implement observability, security best practices, and scalable distributed architectures.

Lead innovation initiatives, POCs, and mentor engineers on AI system design and engineering excellence.

Use AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) in structured workflows.

Required Skills

715 years of software development experience, with 3+ years in AI/ML or Generative AI.

Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and prompt engineering.

Proficiency in Python or JavaScript with strong system design expertise.

Experience in cloud-native deployments and distributed systems.

Proven experience deploying GenAI solutions in production.

Nice to Have

MLOps tools (MLflow, SageMaker, Vertex AI)

Spark/Airflow-based data pipelines

Experience in digital health or healthcare domain
