Artificial Intelligence Engineer

Role Overview

Design, develop, and deploy Agentic AI solutions leveraging Microsoft Power Platform and Azure services. The role involves building autonomous workflows, AI-powered automation pipelines, and scalable backend integrations using Python and cloud-native services.

Must-Have Skills

1. Power Automate (Advanced Level)

• Design and implement complex cloud flows and automated workflows
• Experience with:
• HTTP connectors (REST API integration)
• Custom connectors
• Error handling & retry policies
• Environment strategy and governance
• Integration with SharePoint, Dataverse, ServiceNow, Azure services, etc.
• Implement AI-driven orchestration using Power Automate as an agent workflow layer

2. Azure Databricks (Python)

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with:
• PySpark
• Data transformation & ETL pipelines
• Delta Lake architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers)
• Building AI/ML-ready data pipelines
• Working with structured and unstructured datasets
• Experience in embedding generation / vectorization (good advantage for Agentic AI)

3. Azure Function App

• Develop serverless APIs using:
• Python or C#
• Implement:
• Event-driven architectures
• Durable functions (if applicable)
• HTTP-triggered AI orchestration endpoints
• Integration with:
• Power Automate
• Dataverse
• Azure Storage / ADLS
• Secure authentication (Managed Identity, OAuth2, App Registrations)

Good-to-Have Skills

Copilot Studio

• Designing conversational agents
• Building:
• Custom topics
• Generative answers
• API-based actions
• Understanding:
• Copilot extensibility
• Custom connectors
• Governance & environment strategy

Agentic AI-Specific Competencies (Highly Preferred)

• Understanding of:
• Multi-agent orchestration
• Tool usage patterns
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• API orchestration between AI services
• Prompt engineering fundamentals
• Vector database concepts (Azure AI Search preferred)
• AI workflow monitoring & observability
