Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune for an Artificial Intelligence Engineer. The position involves developing and optimizing AI solutions using neural networks, natural language processing, and pattern recognition. Responsibilities include building and testing advanced models, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative outcomes, and leveraging state-of-the-art technologies to address real-world challenges through AI-driven approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building AI features: Support implementation of AI-enabled workflows such as drafting, summarization, classification, and knowledge retrieval.
• Prompt & workflow support: Help create prompt templates, guardrails, and structured output formats; document what works.
• Data preparation: Clean, label, and structure data for testing and evaluation (documents, FAQs, tickets, transcripts, SOPs).
• RAG basics: Support retrieval pipelines (chunking, indexing, search quality checks) under guidance from senior engineers.
• Evaluation & testing: Create test cases, expected outputs, and simple scoring methods to measure quality and regressions.
• Integration tasks: Build small API integrations and connectors to common tools (docs, spreadsheets, ticketing, CRM) as assigned.
• Bug fixes & improvements: Debug issues, fix defects, and improve reliability with support from the team.
• Documentation: Write clear notes, runbooks, and how-to guides for features you work on.
• Team collaboration: Participate in standups, sprint tasks, code reviews, and pair programming.

Qualifications

• Experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks
• Proficiency in Computer Science and Software Development
• Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• A strong foundation in mathematics, algorithms, and machine learning
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or relevant field
• Prior experience in social impact projects or interest in social innovation is a plus

• You can independently deliver small features/bug fixes in an AI-enabled application.
• You contribute test cases and quality improvements that reduce rework.
• You build confidence in 12 areas (prompting, RAG support, integrations, or evaluation).
