About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) solutions, leveraging advanced machine learning (ML) techniques and AI frameworks to address complex business challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build intelligent systems and drive innovation, with a focus on implementing and optimizing modern AI technologies such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI Agents.

What Youll Do

• Build and maintain high-performance AI microservices using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for production-scale use cases.
• Integrate AI features using Google Generative AI SDK and OpenAI SDK.
• Work with vector databases to enable semantic search, embeddings retrieval, and real-time AI workflows.
• Design and manage scalable data pipelines leveraging MongoDB for storing, indexing, and querying AI-related data.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code with strong focus on performance, latency, and reliability.
• Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, and AI teams to deliver impactful AI-driven features.
• Participate in design and code reviews to uphold a high-quality engineering culture.

What Were Looking For

• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI/Flask for building scalable APIs.
• Solid understanding of RAG, embeddings, chunking strategies, and retrieval pipelines.
• Experience integrating with Google Gen AI SDK and OpenAI SDK.
• Fundamental understanding of how Transformers, CNNs, KNN, and other ML algorithms work
• Familiarity with Vector Databases such as Pinecone, QDrant.
• Experience with MongoDB for structured/unstructured data handling.
• Knowledge of AI evaluation, hallucination control, and prompt optimization.
• Understanding of API security, authentication, and data privacy principles.

• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or AWS for model deployment
• Experience with Node.js for auxiliary services or integrations
• Knowledge of Redis or other caching layers for optimizing retrieval and AI response latency
