About the Role

Agarwal Gupta & Associates is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic CA Article Trainees to join our professional team. This role offers practical exposure in audit, accounting, taxation, and compliance, enabling trainees to gain hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced Chartered Accountants.

Key Responsibilities

1. Audit & Accounting

• Assist in statutory audits, tax audits, internal audits, and other assurance assignments
• Support in audit planning, execution, and finalization of audit reports
• Assist in preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Maintain proper audit documentation and working papers

2. Taxation & Compliance

• Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns (ITR), TDS returns, and GST returns
• Support in handling notices, assessments, and basic compliance requirements
• Assist in maintaining statutory records and compliance documentation

3. Client Handling & Professional Support

• Coordinate with clients for collection of financial data and supporting documents
• Assist senior team members in resolving client queries under supervision
• Support in conducting internal audits and process reviews

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare working papers, schedules, and reports for audit and accounting assignments
• Ensure proper maintenance of files and documentation as per firm standards

5. Learning & Professional Development

• Actively participate in training sessions and internal knowledge-sharing discussions
• Stay updated with amendments in tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirement

Eligibility & Qualifications

• Registered / Eligible for Articleship under the Chartered Accountants Act
• Cleared CA Intermediate (as applicable)
• Strong conceptual understanding of accounting, auditing, and taxation
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic accounting software
• Good communication skills and professional attitude
