Chandan Hegde & Associates is a 17 year old CA firm with four partners in two locations (Udupi & Bengaluru) having vast experience in Accounts, Auditing, Taxation and Finance.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Article Assistant located in Bengaluru South. The Article Assistant will be responsible for assisting in accounting, auditing, tax compliance, and related professional services. The role involves preparing financial statements, conducting research, filing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The candidate will work closely with senior professionals to gain valuable experience in various aspects of accounting, auditing, and taxation.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and bookkeeping
• Knowledge of Taxation and Compliance, including filing returns and tax planning
• Familiarity with Auditing procedures, practices, and standards
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Accounting Software, and other relevant tools
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines
• Professional attitude and eagerness to learn and adapt
• Current enrollment in the Articleship program, CA intermediate qualification preferred
