Job Overview :

Venkatramanan Associates is seeking a Design Communication Executive who will support the firms design communication and branding initiatives by creating high-quality visual and graphic content across print and digital platforms. The role involves working closely with architects and leadership to translate complex design ideas into clear, engaging, and aesthetically strong communication material that reflects the firms design philosophy and legacy.

Key Responsibilities:

1)Design & Visual Communication

Create visually compelling communication materials such as project presentations, brochures, studio profiles, reports, and marketing collaterals.

Develop layouts, graphics, and visual systems that clearly communicate architectural ideas and narratives.

Ensure consistency in branding, typography, colour, and visual hierarchy across all outputs.

2)Branding & Corporate Design

Support firm-wide branding initiatives and ensure adherence to VAs visual identity guidelines.

Design corporate materials including pitch decks, award submission documents, publications, and profiles.

Assist in maintaining a cohesive and refined visual language across all communication touchpoints.

3)Content & Storytelling Support

Collaborate with architects and project teams to translate design concepts into engaging visual stories.

Support basic content planning, editing, and coordination for communication materials where required.

Assist in preparing visual assets for internal and external communication initiatives.

4)Coordination & Execution

Work closely with internal teams to meet timelines and deliverables.

Coordinate with printers, vendors, and external consultants as needed.

Maintain high attention to detail, quality control, and accuracy in all deliverables.

Required Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Bachelors degree in Visual Communication, Graphic Design, or a related field.

35 years of relevant experience in design communication or graphic design roles.

Prior experience in architecture, interior design, urban design, or creative studios is strongly preferred.

Strong foundation in communication design, branding, and visual storytelling.

Excellent understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:

InDesign

Illustrator

Photoshop

Familiarity with digital design tools and presentation formats.

Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple deliverables.

High attention to detail and design sensibility.

Language proficiency: English,Kannada, Hindi.
