About the Team and the Role

The Vehicle service team at Ather is responsible for managing flagship workshops, driving service delivery operations, and ensuring a seamless end-to-end customer experience. This team oversees critical business aspects including manpower management, demand generation, and territory-wide service excellence.

This role is for a senior resource responsible for supervising service operations, managing city-wide workshops, and driving key service KPIs. The role holder will lead a large team to ensure high satisfaction levels, efficient warehouse operations, and effective administrative management of Ather premises within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Supervise service delivery, operations, and demand generation while ensuring necessary manpower hiring and training are in place.

• Lead the team operating flagship workshops to deliver a seamless and superior customer experience.

• Drive and monitor all service KPIs for the assigned city to ensure business targets are met.

• Manage day-to-day service operations, providing mentorship and guidance to the execution team.

• Oversee payment collection and ensure the delivery of scooters maintains high customer satisfaction levels.

• Ensure the achievement of projected service volume plans for the territory.

• Monitor city warehouse operations, including inventory management and coordination with the central warehouse.

• Manage the administrative requirements for Ather premises and facilities within the city.

Experience and Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Business or Engineering from a Tier I or Tier II institute.

• 4-6 years of experience in managing service delivery operations, specifically leading teams of 20+ members or overseeing 4+ workshops.

Must Have Competencies

• Advanced diagnostic skills encompassing both mechanical and electrical vehicle systems.

• Proficiency in service operation management to streamline workshop workflows and productivity.

• Strategic crisis management capability to resolve operational bottlenecks and customer escalations.

• Ability to control operational costs including COGS, working capital, and development budgets.

Good to Have Competencies

• Technical understanding of EV technology and intelligent vehicle systems.

• Experience in scaling service operations and implementing value improvement initiatives.

• Proficiency in inventory management and warehouse coordination protocols.

• Ability to build and implement new service products and customer experiences at a rapid pace.
