About the Team and the Role

The Vehicle Service Delivery team at Ather is responsible for managing the end-to-end service operations and ensuring that every customer interaction reflects our commitment to quality and seamless urban mobility.

This role is for an Area Vehicle Service Manager who will serve as the key senior resource in the city, overseeing service delivery, operations, and demand generation. You will be responsible for managing flagship workshops, driving service KPIs, and leading a passionate team to deliver a superior customer experience while maintaining operational excellence across the region.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the city's service delivery, service operations, and demand generation activities as the senior resource.

• Manage the end-to-end day-to-day service operations, providing guidance and mentorship to the execution team.

• Lead the teams operating flagship workshops to ensure a seamless and superior customer interaction experience.

• Drive and monitor key service KPIs for the city to maintain high standards of performance and efficiency.

• Oversee workforce planning, including the hiring and training of personnel to ensure business readiness.

• Achieve projected volume plans while ensuring high customer satisfaction and timely payment collection.

• Monitor city warehouse operations, including inventory management and coordination with the central warehouse.

• Manage the administrative responsibilities and maintenance of Ather premises within the assigned city.

Experience and Qualifications

• Graduate in Business or Engineering from a Tier I/Tier II institute

• 6-10 years of experience in managing service delivery operations

Must Have Competencies

• Strategic management of after-sales operations and workshop service delivery.

• Expertise in driving service Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.

• Proficient in warehouse management and localized inventory control systems.

• Advanced team leadership and multi-site operational supervision.

Good to Have Competencies

• Technical understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) technology and components.

• Implementation of demand generation strategies within a service environment.

• Management of large-scale workforce hiring and technical training programs.

• Oversight of administrative facility management and premises maintenance.
