Job Description

Shree Additives is one of the leading Spice blends, specialist spice and seasoning blend manufacturers tailored to suit the customer needs primarily operating in the B2B space with rich ambition to move into the B2C space in allied and related processed food areas. Based on the clean and sound background of the company we are prime distributors of specialty products of a few very well-known MNCs helping the growth and development of the food and dairy industry in India. In addition to the above Shree Additives also work closely and in alliance with several well-known transnational companies in the development of specialty blends for our customers. We service very well-known brands that operate in the food and dairy space within the Indian food processing industry.

In line with our ambition the company is investing in a state of art production facility at Ahmedabad and also strongly investing in the Research and Development center.


We have an Exciting Opportunity for Area Sales Manager. If you are passionate about B2B sales, this role offers a strong platform to grow your career and drive the expansion of specialty ingredients in India.


Role Objective:

To drive regional B2B business growth by identifying and converting potential customers, managing key accounts, and ensuring smooth coordination between clients and internal teams for sustained relationship and revenue expansion.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  1. Sales Planning and Execution:
  • Prepare monthly sales plans, party-wise and product-wise.
  • Track actual vs projected sales and take corrective actions.
  • Conduct regular market visits to strengthen relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure stock availability and timely dispatches.
  • Maintain sales records and follow-up trackers in company formats.


2. Business Development

  • Identify and qualify new leads through market research, trade fairs, cold calls, LinkedIn, and industry references. Define customer/ industry category example confectionary/ bakery etc.
  • Conduct sampling, technical demos, and presentations to showcase solutions.
  • Maintain and update the lead database systematically.
  • Follow up on inquiries till successful conversion.


  1. Key Account Management:
  • Maintain close communication with key customers to understand recurring requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for order fulfilment, quality resolution, and documentation.
  • Ensure timely invoicing, payment follow-ups, and claim settlements.
  • Support value addition and cross-selling opportunities.


  1. Market Intelligence and Reporting:
  • Track competitor activity, pricing, and product launches in assigned territory.
  • Prepare and submit structured market visit reports with actionable insights.

  • Share feedback from customers and distributors to aid business decisions.


  1. Cross-Functional Coordination:
  • Liaise with CRM for dispatches, billing, and stock alignment.
  • Coordinate with NPD team for customer-specific product development or trials.
  • Collaborate with accounts team for financial reconciliation and settlements.
  • Maintain professional written and verbal communication with all stakeholders.


  1. Relationship Building and Representation:
  • Build and maintain strong professional rapport with procurement, R&D, and production heads of client organizations.
  • Represent the company in trade fairs, exhibitions, and customer visits.
  • Promote company image through professional conduct and customer service orientation.


Skills and Experience Required:

  • Requires strong technical sales skills, market insight, and clear communication to position the company as the preferred B2B ingredient partner.
  • ASM must be hands-on in the market, build key relationships, and drive seamless coordination between internal teams and customers.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the B2B ingredients or food industry.
